Looking back to 2017’s event
HALA’s celebrated its 15th year anniversary at our annual Benefit Dinner last year! We raised $1,440 for Project Education South Sudan, a wonderful organization that works to educate young girls in South Sudan. Project Education South Sudan was chosen in honor of HALA’s Founding President Ndubisi Obiorah, who is currently working as a Senior Political Affairs Officer for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan.
At our event we recognized the efforts of our founders, and the impact of the African alumni of HLS throughout history.
Please find photos from the event here.
Thank you to the Harvard Black Law Students Association, Women’s Law Association, Lambda and Asian Pacific American Law Student Association for their sponsorship.
