To this end, they created an organization that was committed to preparing students to creatively and intelligently use the law in the service of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since ELS&#8217;s founding, the field of environmental law has been ever-changing, but the organization\u2019s central mission remains the same:&nbsp; to strengthen the capacity of its members to make real contributions to the field of environmental law &#8212; and to the environment itself &#8212; in the local, national and international communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><strong>Join Us!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is ELS?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Harvard Environmental Law Society (ELS) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization directed and staffed by students at Harvard Law School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will ELS do this year?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We have an exciting year ahead, with&nbsp;social events and impact-driven programming planned, and we invite you participate in any or all of our events.
