The Disability Allyship Pledge, created by disabled Harvard Law students, outlines ways everyone can better support students with disabilities at Harvard Law School. Specifically, it details four commitments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Don’t self-assess a person’s level of disability or the validity of their aids and accommodations.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Listen to and believe your disabled friends and peers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Don’t reduce disability into a reason to feel inspired to overcome your own challenges or to feel grateful.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Promote and model inclusion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
