Alexa is a 3L from Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Columbia University, where she majored in History and played oboe in the Columbia University Orchestra. Before law school, Alexa worked as a legal assistant. At HLS, she has been involved with the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project, the Women\u2019s Law Association, and the Harvard Business Law Review. She spent her 1L summer with the New York Attorney General and her 2L summer at Simpson Thacher. She plans to practice corporate law in New York City after graduation. At HLS, Ali is involved with CRCL, Alianza, and PLAP. She spent her 1L summer in Detroit working at the ACLU of Michigan, and her 2L summer at the plaintiff\u2019s firm Romanucci & Blandin in Chicago, where she worked on cases involving police misconduct and poor prison conditions. Allison is a 2L from Cincinnati, Ohio. After studying History and Africana Studies at Brown University, she moved to Germany to work as an English Teaching Assistant. Later, she returned to the US where she was a Project Assistant at a DC-based think tank. At law school, Allison is the Communications Director for Harvard Defenders and is the Co-Chair for the Black Law Students Association\u2019s Public Interest Committee. She spent her first law school summer as a Law Clerk at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia in the Trial Division. Before law school, she spent a year on a Mitchell Scholarship in Ireland, where she received a Master\u2019s in Gender, Politics, and International Relations from University College Dublin. She then spent a year on Capitol Hill, working as a Legislative Fellow for Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02). At HLS, Amelia serves as a Research Assistant for Prof. Bowie. She has also been involved with the upper-level Ames Moot Court Competition, the Women\u2019s Law Association, and the Journal of Law & Gender. She spent her 1L summer at the MacArthur Justice Center in New Orleans and she split her 2L summer between O’Melveny & Myers (DC) and the Center for Reproductive Rights (also DC). Amelia is interested in pursuing government lawyering, reproductive justice, and\/or civil rights law. Prior to law school, he worked in D.C. as a political advisor to a member of Congress. At HLS, Brandon serves as a J.D. Admissions Fellow, and was an Executive Articles Editor for the Journal on Legislation. He served as Treasurer of the Section 5 Social Committee in his 1L year. Brandon spent his 1L summer at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and his 2L summer in Skadden’s D.C. office. Before law school, Casey worked as an investigator at the Public Defender Service in Washington, DC, led backpacking trips for teens in Colorado and Wyoming, and worked on a dude ranch. She spent her 1L summer at the Office of the Federal Public Defender in DC and her 2L summer at Covington & Burling. On campus, Casey is involved in the Prison Legal Assistance Project, National Security Law Journal, and Admission Fellows. At HLS, Christina is involved with affinity groups for Asian and Canadian law students, researches for the Center for Labor and a Just Economy (CLJE) and for Professor Jeannie Suk Gersen, and was a student fellow for the Law and Political Economy program. During her 1L summer, Christina worked at the New York Attorney General\u2019s Civil Rights Bureau. This past summer, she worked at Cleary Gottlieb in New York. Emma is a 2L from sunny Miami, Florida. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a degree in Economics and minors in Statistics and American Sign Language, then stuck around to earn her master\u2019s in Behavioral and Decision Sciences in 2022. After that, she spent two years as a pre-doctoral fellow at the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at Harvard Business School, where she conducted research in behavioral economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At HLS, Emma keeps busy as a member of the Journal on Legislation and as the Director of Communications for DLSA. She spent her 1L summer at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and will be heading to Hogan Lovells in Washington, D.C. for her 2L summer, focusing on litigation and appellate work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before law school, Katelyn worked in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate. She also served as a teaching assistant in a genetics laboratory. Ki\u00e9mi is a 3L from Jamaica, Queens New York. In 2022, she graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) with a degree in French and International Studies. Following graduation, Ki\u00e9mi moved to the South of France to teach English in French public schools. Ki\u00e9mi was also a 2023 SEO Law Fellow at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At HLS, Ki\u00e9mi has served as the External VP of the Black Law Student Association and a project leader in the Harvard Human Rights Entrepreneurship clinic. For 1L summer, Ki\u00e9mi was a 1L Pathways Scholar at Latham & Watkins, where she returned for 2L summer. Before law school, Max served as an Army Ranger. At HLS, he is involved in the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, and the HLS Armed Forces Association. During his 1L summer and 2L spring, Max worked in the U.S. Department of Justice\u2019s Civil Rights Division. During his 2L summer, Max worked at Ali & Lockwood, a boutique law firm in Washington D.C. Prior to law school, she conducted research on AI and cybersecurity policy in DC. At HLS, she serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law & Technology and is involved with the Cyberlaw Clinic, APALSA, and KAHLS. During her 1L summer, Millie worked at the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office in Hawaii. She spent her 2L summer at Cravath in New York. In her free time, she likes to decompress through hot yoga, go to art museums, host dinner parties, and play pickleball.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

He went to undergrad at Columbia University and spent the year before law school completing a master’s degree from The University of Cambridge. At HLS, Nicolas is involved with The Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT) and helped plan events as a part of his Section’s Social Committee. During his 1L summer, he worked at a big law firm in San Francisco and will return for his 2L summer. In his free time, he enjoys watching F1, doing different parts of a triathlon without ever putting them together, and bringing his dog Ruby on walks along the Charles River.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During her 1L summer, Noa worked on the Federal Initiatives team in the Executive Division of the NY Attorney General’s Office. Before law school, Nora worked at Children\u2019s Law Center in Washington, D.C. At HLS, she has been involved with Harvard Defenders, Harvard Prison Legal Assistant Project, Alliance for Reproductive Justice, Parody, and Harvard Journal of Law & Gender. She is also a member of the Women\u2019s Law Association and First Class. She split her 1L summer between Center for Family Representation in New York City and ConnKavanaugh in Boston. After graduation, she plans to do public interest work, ideally within the criminal justice system. She plans to practice corporate law in New York City after graduation. At HLS, Ruth is involved with Advocates for Human Rights, the Recording Artists’ Project, Parody, and Christian Fellowship. She is also a proctor for first-year students at Harvard College. She spent her 1L summer working in the Anti-Trafficking Initiative at Sanctuary for Families in New York City. Strong spent his 1L summer at the Department of Justice Office of Legal Policy and his 2L summer at Covington & Burling LLP. In his free time, Strong enjoys playing jazz piano (decently), golfing (poorly), and swing dancing (indescribably). After graduating, she worked a short stint as a videographer for a court reporting firm before moving to Amman, Jordan where she taught English as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. He spent his 1L summer researching nonprofit law while interning in Shanghai, and he worked at the Taiwan Innocence Project during the winter term of his 2L year. He split his 2L summer between Sidley Austin’s D.C. office and Greater Boston Legal Service’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic.
