After graduating from UT Austin, Kristle served as an Army Combat Medic. At HLS, Kristle serves as Editor-in-Chief of the National Security Law Journal and a mentor through APALSA and Service to School.

Co-President \u2013 True Merritt, ’26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

True joined the U.S. Army after graduating from the University of Memphis. She served as a Field Artillery Officer from 2017 to 2023. Since arriving at HLS, she has been active in the Harvard Law and Policy Review and the HLS Pub scene.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

VP of Internal Affairs – Jake Stoffel, ’27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jake graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2019 and served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army. He is active in Service to School and the Prison Legal Assistance Project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nate is a 2L who likes exercising and bad reality television shows. He is a former US Navy cryptologic warfare officer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

VP of Communications – Eddie Zhanel, ’27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to law school, Eddie graduated in 2016 from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in History and served for eight years in the navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. At HLS, he will be working with the Veterans Legal Clinic in the fall.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

VP of Events & External Affairs<\/span> – Will Johnson, ’27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before coming to HLS, Will served as an Army Engineer Officer. At HLS, Will also serves on the boards of the Alliance for Israel, the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project, and the National Security Journal. He\u2019s also an MVP of both the flag football and softball teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Zach served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator. Since enrolling at HLS, he has participated in the Harvard National Security Journal and the Veterans Justice Clinic.
