He graduated from Yale College in 2021, where he earned a B.S. in data science and global affairs. Prior to law school, he served as an advisor to Chair Lina Khan at the Federal Trade Commission, working to advance competition policy and consumer protection initiatives in technology, healthcare, agriculture, and other critical sectors of the economy. He went to University of Michigan for undergrad where he studied econ and stats. Before law school\u00a0Jinwook\u00a0worked as a paralegal at the FTC&#8217;s Bureau of Competition for 2 years, where he worked on big tech litigation cases.\u00a0Jinwook\u00a0spent his 1L summer at the New York Attorney General&#8217;s Antitrust Bureau. For fun he enjoys\u00a0playing cello in orchestra and other musical\u00a0ensembles. Cate attended the University of Notre Dame where she studied Economics. Prior to HLS, Cate worked in Kentucky\u2019s Cabinet for Economic Development as a Senior Project Manager in their Business and Community Development department. She spent her 1L summer at Kaplan, Johnson, Abate, and Bird, a boutique law firm in Louisville, KY. Cate is excited to continue on campus discussions involving a Brandeisian form of antitrust, rural economic development, and creating a more fulfilling economic system. Prior to law school, she worked in economic consulting, supporting expert witness testimony in major commercial litigation and government investigations. She spent her 1L summer at the Federal Trade Commission in the Bureau of Competition, Health Care Division.
