She first became interested in antitrust while studying economics at the University of Chicago, from which she graduated in 2019. Prior to law school, she worked in the antitrust practice of an economic consulting firm in Washington, D.C. Dina spent her 1L summer at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division\u2019s Technology and Digital Practices Section and her 2L summer at Cleary Gottlieb\u2019s Washington, D.C. office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Garrett Martin<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Garrett is a third-year student at Harvard Law School. He first became interested in antitrust while studying economics at Dartmouth College. Prior to law school, Garrett taught English in Hungary and worked as a management consultant in Boston. His interest in antitrust was rekindled at HLS when he had the opportunity to edit an article on the subject for the Journal of Law &amp; Technology. Garrett spent his 1L summer at the Vermont Attorney General\u2019s Office and his 2L summer at Davis Polk &amp; Wardwell in New York City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vice President (Outreach)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Samara Trilling<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samara is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. She became interested in strengthening anti-monopoly law during her seven years working as a software engineer at Google and Sidewalk Labs. Samara has a degree in computer science from Columbia University with a specialization in artificial intelligence and a concentration in History. It was while completing his master\u2019s degree that Mark became interested in Antitrust policy and decided to attend law school. Prior to Analysis Group, Matt worked in education and renewable energy in South Africa and Rwanda. While attending Bates College, he studied economics and was named the #1 debater in the country at the U.S. Universities Debating Championship. Matt spent his 1L summer working on antitrust regulation and advocacy at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Open Markets Institute in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Jessica&nbsp;Ljustina<\/strong><\/em><br>Jessica is a second-year student at Harvard Law School. Prior to law school, she was an Analyst in the Investment Banking group of RBC Capital Markets. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Honours) degree from the University of British Columbia, where she first became interested in antitrust as a student and lecturer in a Government and Business course. Berkeley in 2016, with a degree in Political Science and minors in Persian and English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Treasurer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Vincent Wu&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><br>Vincent is a second-year student at Harvard Law School from Los Angeles, CA. He decided that he didn\u2019t like sunshine and warmth and so took his talents to the Midwest where he attended the University of Chicago, majoring in Political Science. Upon graduation, he worked for two years as a financial institution legal assistant at Sullivan &amp; Cromwell. His interest in antitrust stems from working on competitive issues relating to bank mergers and a desire to explore this field in other industries. Vincent spent his 1L summer at the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Events Chair&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Brian Beaton<\/strong><\/em><br>Brian is a second-year law student from Boston, MA. A political science and economics major at Holy Cross, Brian developed an early interest in the relationship between corporation consolidation and the U.S. political process. Prior to coming to Harvard, Brian spent two years working at the Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C. At DOJ, Brian worked on three federal antitrust trials, including the mega-merger between AT&amp;T and Time Warner. At Harvard, Brian is also a student attorney with the Harvard Law School Immigration Project. Brian spent his 1L summer at the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office in Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Communications Chair&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Anna Dorman<\/strong><\/em><br>Anna is a second-year student at Harvard Law School from the great state of New Hampshire. Prior to coming to HLS, she served in Rwanda as a US Peace Corps Volunteer and in Hawai\u2019i as an AmeriCorps VISTA. She graduated from William Smith College in 2013 with a degree in International Relations and Minors in Economics, Middle Eastern Studies, and Environmental Studies.
