{"id":107,"date":"2010-10-08T18:07:55","date_gmt":"2010-10-08T18:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hlsorgs.com\/saldf\/?p=107"},"modified":"2010-10-08T18:07:55","modified_gmt":"2010-10-08T18:07:55","slug":"2011-national-animal-law-competitions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orgs.law.harvard.edu\/animallaw\/2010\/10\/08\/2011-national-animal-law-competitions\/","title":{"rendered":"2011 National Animal Law Competitions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 8th Annual National Animal Law Competitions will be held on February 25-27th, 2011. \u00a0The board of SALDF wants to encourage anyone who is interested to participate and pass on a few items from the organizers at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lclark.edu\/law\/centers\/animal_law_studies\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Animal Studies at the Lewis &amp; Clark Law School<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are 3 separate competitions: a\u00a0Legislative Drafting &amp; Lobbying Competition; a Closing Argument Competition; and an Appellate Moot Court Competition.<\/li>\n<li>The dates of the event are Friday, February 25th (starts in the evening) through Sunday, February 27th.<\/li>\n<li>Federal judges will preside over the final round of the Appellate Moot Court Competition.<\/li>\n<li>Registration opened on Thursday, October 7th at 10 a.m. (PST).\u00a0 We hope that once again this year, Harvard will have an Appellate Moot Court team and perhaps other competitors.
