Operating across Egypt and East Africa, Enara has developed and operated 250 MW of renewable energy assets, with an ambitious pipeline of 1GW+ of PV and wind projects and 1MT\/year of green molecules planned by 2030. Under Sherif\u2019s leadership, Enara\u2019s service arm was recognized by the Financial Times in 2024 as the 7th fastest-growing company in Africa and the 1st in Egypt.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp” css=”” el_class=”white_txt”]As Chairman of the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB), Sherif has driven several transformative initiatives. These include launching the OECD-MENA Business Youth Platform, re-launching the National Business Agenda (NBA) in collaboration with the U.S.-based Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) during COVID-19, and introducing the Entrepreneurship Award, celebrating business leaders across generations. Under his leadership, the EJB has also played a key role in shaping Egypt Vision 2030, providing strategic recommendations through its committees.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp” css=”” el_class=”white_txt”]Previously, as Head of the Energy Committee at EJB, Sherif played a pivotal role in advancing Egypt\u2019s renewable energy sector.
