He currently serves as the Senior Advisor on International Partnerships, the AU Border Program, and Regional Security Mechanisms in the Office of the Commissioner for Political Affairs and Peace and Security at the African Union Commission.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;white_txt&#8221;]With a distinguished career spanning decades, Ambassador Ngoga has played a pivotal role in shaping Africa\u2019s security and conflict prevention landscape. From 2014 to 2021, he led the Conflict Prevention and Early Warning Division at the AU Peace and Security Department, strengthening the AU\u2019s capacity to mitigate crises through early warning mechanisms, preventive diplomacy, and enhanced collaboration with regional organizations. He was instrumental in supporting peace efforts in Libya, the Sahel, the Central African Republic, and the Horn of Africa, including his contribution to the 2019 CAR Global Agreement for Peace and National Reconciliation.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;white_txt&#8221;]Prior to this, he served as a senior officer with the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM), supporting military operations and counterterrorism initiatives.
